Jade Body Qigong

 Qigong is a mind relaxing, peace-inducing and body-healing practice, distilled over generations for ease and effectiveness. In this class, you will learn movement, breath, and meditation to increase your qi (energy) and help you relax deeply. Practicing Qigong is an all-natural tool for increasing health, vitality and joy in your life!

Jade Body is a special form for releasing the Spine and boosting the Immune Defenses.

We start with opening the heart area, breathing deeply and stretching, generating flow of qi through all the channels of the body. We cleanse the body, and then generate fluidity in the spine by doing turtle, crane and dragon movements that unlock certain points that help with immune boosting.

Jade is considered a pure and stable, solid substance; it symbolizes the feeling in your body when you are in excellent health. The exercises of Jade Body are quite simple and can be modified for all abilities.  This class will involve movement as well as seated meditation.
