Can you do yoga with a mid-life body? It’s not only possible, it’s fun!

This class focuses primarily on postures that build core strength, flexibility, balance, and mental clarity - all qualities that are critically important for healthy aging. Breath awareness will guide you through the movements, and we will end with a short period of rest. The focus will be on basic yoga poses, and blocks, chairs, straps and bolsters (available at the studio) may be used to keep the body safe.

$15 drop in, $65 for 5-class pass, $125 for 10-class pass, $220 for 20-class pass

About the Instructor: Beverly Gonyea is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga's teacher training program and is registered with the Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour level. Beverly began practicing yoga 8 years ago, looking to bring more focus and clarity into her everyday life. Beverly has taught diverse populations: senior citizens, special needs groups, teens, and adults. She believes that everyone can benefit, both physically and emotionally, by adapting a yoga practice to address their own special situation.
