kirtan nights

Come explore the power of vibration and community
at Whole Life Yoga's new Kirtan nights!

Kirtan is an ancient "call and response" chanting tradition from India that helps calm the mind through the repetition of Sanskrit sounds. These sounds produce vibrations that create deep stillness and peacefulness.

By singing in community with others, Kirtan enables a group to achieve a type of musical synergy which often leads to a lingering energetic "buzz." The chants themselves call on the various elements of the universe to help the practitioner overcome obstacles, heal from illness, or open the heart to love and abundance.

Although we will chant some Hindu chants, Kirtan practice is open to people of all faiths and beliefs. Please come experience Kirtan's energetic "buzz" for yourself!

No previous musical experience needed!
