about the instructors

Tracy Weber is the owner and founder of Whole Life Yoga. She is a certified yoga instructor and yoga therapist through the American Viniyoga Institute's teacher training program and is registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 500. She has also completed advanced studies in prenatal yoga. She originally came to yoga for relief from chronic back pain, and discovered the balance and stress relief yoga provides. Tracy believes that the benefits of yoga are much broader than physical exercise, and that yoga can help people achieve what they want in all areas of life. Note: The yoga therapy components of Tracy's teaching are based on her certification and additional training as a yoga therapist from the American Viniyoga Institute, not derived from her status as an E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance Registry.

Sheryl Stich is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga's teacher training program and is registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 500. Sheryl came to Viniyoga after recovering from disc hernia surgery in 2002. She also had hip replacement surgery, and found that yoga and breath work not only helped retain her health physically, but also helped mentally and emotionally. She finds much joy and happiness in sharing this "calm awakening" connecting the mind, body and breath with her students.

Kim Tull-Esterbrook is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga's teacher training program at the 200-hour level. Kim uses yoga as a tool to help her know and understand herself and the world more fully, and as a practice to help her move with courage and grace through all the beautiful and challenging things she finds through that searching. It is her intention to share the gifts of yoga with others as they embark on their own journeys.

Karen Campbell is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga's and the American Viniyoga Institute's teacher training programs and is registered with Yoga Alliance as an RYT 500. Karen trained as a yoga therapist with American Viniyoga Institute. Karen has completed the Practicum in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and is currently enrolled in the Mindfulness Teacher Training Program through Mindfulness Northwest. Karen most enjoys yoga for the balance and flexibility it brings to body and mind, both on and off the mat.

Suzette Birrell is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga's teacher training program and is registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 200, RYT 500, RPYT. She is also a registered prenatal yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance. She believes the practice of yoga is a way to live each day with joy by staying healthy both mentally and physically. Suzette brings this passion for life into her teaching, helping people truly live the life they want today and beyond.

Julie Miller is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga's teacher training program at the 200-hour level and is registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 200. She has also completed the iRest Level I Yoga Nidra training. Julie is especially interested in the use of mindfulness practices to address the effects of stress on the body and create a greater sense of peace and wellbeing throughout daily life. Julie seeks to support students in creating practices that suit their individual needs. Her intention is to facilitate awareness of the physical and energetic impact of poses and she encourages taking time throughout class to become aware of subtle shifts. Off the mat, Julie enjoys spending time studying herbal medicine and exploring alternative healing modalities.

Katie West is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga's teacher training program at the 500-hour level. She found Viniyoga after years of chronic pain stemming from structural and muscular issues. The lineage's teachings spoke so clearly to her that she instantly fell in love and began her journey of reintegrating body, breath and mind to help minimize and manage her chronic pain and bring balance to her life. Katie loves the therapeutic and rehabilitative aspects of yoga and continues her yoga education by participating as a teaching assistant in Whole Life Yoga's current 200-hour teacher training.

Roxie Dufour is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga's teacher training program at the 500-hour level. Roxie began practicing yoga in 1990's and teaching since 2009. The Viniyoga lineage was an immediate connection because of the various adaptations in movement and breath. Her passion is to share the positive effects. Roxie enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with family, kayaking and biking.

Shana Robbins is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga’s teacher training at the 200-hour level and is currently working on her doctorate in Physical Therapy. She loved her first life as a professional dancer and now incorporates a graceful, flowing style into her yoga practice and teaching. She has also worked for many years teaching Pilates, swimming, dance, ESL and Montessori education and is fascinated by the many theories and techniques of learning.

Liziah Richards is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga's teacher training program at the 500-hour level. She has experience teaching yoga to adults, kids and families. She is a therapist, writer, storyteller and performer. Liziah is Licensed Mental Health Counseling Associate. She has  received a Masters of Arts in Psychology/Systems Counseling from the Leadership Institute of Seattle (LIOS) and a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Cornish College of the Arts.

Jennie Day is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga's teacher training program. She took her first yoga class in 2005 to fulfill a college P.E. requirement, and began teaching in 2010. Yoga piqued her interest in learning about the body, which led her to become a massage therapist. Jennie enjoys sharing her knowledge of muscles and movement with students, and believes that the increased body awareness and mindful movement in yoga practice are equally useful in everyday life.

Patricia Hedtke is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga's teacher training program and is registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 200. She uses yoga as a means of letting her mind, body, and spirit join hands in partnership. Her goal is to make yoga available to those of a larger, rounder body type.

Rebecca Bliquez is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga's teacher training program, and is registered with Yoga Alliance at the 500-hour level. She studied prenatal yoga with Margaret Pierce of the Pierce Yoga Program and has completed Lynn Jensen's Yoga for Fertility Teacher Training Level 1. She took up yoga as a complement to her fitness and singing practices and discovered a sense of peace, self-awareness and healing that she attempts to convey to her students through each class. In over ten years of teaching she has enjoyed finding ways to make yoga suit the individual needs of her students and seeing the benefits that result.

Zue Leika is a certified yoga instructor through Whole life Yoga's teacher training program, and is registered with Yoga Alliance at the 500-hour level. Zue is a student who plans to major in Linguistics and also enjoys an active lifestyle. She feels Viniyoga is the perfect tool to compensate for stresses on the body from both outdoor activities and hours seated over a computer. Zue enjoys teaching group classes and looks forward to helping others discover the balance and inspiration that can be found through Viniyoga.

Rene De Los Santos is a certified yoga instructor through Whole Life Yoga's teacher training program, and is certified at the 200-hour level by Whole Life Yoga. He has also traveled to India to explore the roots of yoga. He has been practicing and teaching yoga for 10 years and teaching movement classes for 20 years, and is interested in helping people find joy in movement, dance, exercise, fitness and well-being.
