Do you suffer from neck or back pain?
If so, you're not alone. At some point in their lives, most
Americans will experience one or more incidents of back pain. Most back
injuries are preventable and the pain can be alleviated using simple
yoga techniques.
This 5 or 6 week series is appropriate for anyone who would like to build
back strength, increase flexibility, improve posture, or reduce chronic pain.
In it, you will explore gentle movement and breath work and learn to adapt
postures safely and beneficially for your individual condition.
Yoga for Healthy Backs is great for people new to yoga and those with acute
or moderate chronic back pain, as well as experienced students who would like
to learn how to use yoga to improve back health.

About the Instructor: Tracy Weber is the owner and founder of Whole Life Yoga, and the director of Whole Life Yoga's teacher training program. She originally came to yoga for relief from chronic back pain, and quickly discovered the balance and stress relief yoga provides. Tracy has studied yoga and yoga therapy extensively with Gary Kraftsow at the American Viniyoga institute, and has completed a 5-year yoga teacher and therapist program. Tracy loves helping people use yoga to create balance, health, and joy in their lives.
